School districts across the country know that U.S. cultural and linguistic demographics are rapidly changing and that the Hispanic/Latino audiences make up the lion’s share of this population. Research shows that many Hispanic/Latino multicultural, multigenerational families prefer bilingual materials so they have a choice when it comes to reading in English or Spanish.
